IFE Atelier – Exhibition Space was founded in March 2025 out of the need of Jessica Sergi and Ludovico Renzi to bring together their respective previous experiences (@sergi_ceramics; @gipsoteca_la_porta_gialla) with the desire to create, in Carrara, a space that offers young artists the opportunity to present their work to the public.

Just like the role played by the ife in nature, @spazioife_carrara aims to connect the ceramic studio, the plaster cast gallery, and the exhibition space with each other and with the broader network of artistic initiatives already active in the area.

IFE aspires to be a diverse meeting point, hosting art exhibitions, performances, events, workshops, and discussions.

Ludovico Renzi

Ludovico Renzi: @gipsoteca_la_porta_gialla was born in Milan in 2001 and moved to Carrara in 2021 to attend the Sculpture program at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 2024.

In 2025, he opened @spazioife_carrara, where he exhibits part of the plaster cast collection and organizes cultural events.

Jessica Sergi

Jessica Sergi: @sergi_ceramics was born in Genoa in 2000. Her artistic exploration began in her hometown and later continued in Carrara, where she graduated from the three-year Sculpture program.

In 2025, she opened @spazioife_carrara, where she works and organizes ceramic workshops with the cultural association Lyra.
