Massimo Susini was born in Milan in 1965 but has lived in Carrara for many years. He discovered photography as a teenager. His first photographic experiences developed among the alleyways of Carrara and on the white peaks of the Apuan Alps. His photographs have been featured in the book "Carrara. Le sue costruzioni tra arte e storia". Some of his photographs have been acquired by the Firehouse Gallery in New York. Since 2018 he has been teaching photography. For Carrara Studi Aperti his space Civico 5 will host the exhibition "Il colore del tempo: Trame tra il Finito e l'Eterno" (The Colour of Time: Threads between the Finite and the Eternal), with works by Bianca Sibaud, curated by Davide Pugnana.
