The gallery has been open since June 2024 and welcomes various artists from the local area. This year for Studi Aperti it will host Richard Silvaggio. Richard Silvaggio (Melbourne, 1976) is an artist who graduated from the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts. His painterly research, initially linked to the grotesque and to installation, has evolved towards an elegant and intense monochromatic figuration. Through the exclusive use of black and white, he creates evocative and suspended works centred on the female figure, the unconscious and the "archetypes of nothingness", forging a poetic and introspective dialogue with the viewer. On the occasion of Carrara Studi Aperti 2026 the artist will carry out a live painting session.
